2um Fiber Laser

PowerWave 2000 is a high-power 2000nm thulium fiber laser. The air-cooling version of the laser has a selectable operating wavelength within the range 1900nm~2050nm.

The laser can provide up to 30W of average power at 1940nm or 1908nm, with an excellent beam quality.

The laser can be conveniently switched between CW or modulated (up to 5kHz frequency) operation modes, through a user-friendly touch screen interface.

PowerWave 2000 is an ideal choice for transparent plastic welding using materials such as PMMA and PC/ABS for biomedical applications. It can also be used as the pump source for solid state IR lasers.

While the standard product has a non-polarized output, the laser can be customized to output linearly-polarized light with a maximum output power reaching 50W.

Ultraline 2000 is a 2 um CW fiber laser with MHz level narrow linewidth. It features compact size and high reliability.

It can be used together with TDFA-HP to boost the output power to multi-Watt level. Ultraline 2000 is widely used in 2 um fiber-optic component testing, communication subsystems, MIR frequency combs and spectroscopy.
