product description
The Singlemode Standard Coupler from GKER Photonics offers exceptional performance in optical communication systems, combining low insertion loss with high environmental stability. Designed to operate efficiently in the 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelength windows, this coupler delivers precise power splitting with coupling ratios ranging from 50/50 to 1/99.
With its minimal insertion loss—down to 3.4 dB for the 1 × 2 configuration and 0.10 dB for the 2 × 2 configuration—the coupler ensures optimal signal transmission. It features low polarization dependence, with a maximum PDL of 0.10 dB, providing reliable performance across various polarization states. The coupler's robust design supports continuous wave optical power up to 300 mW, making it suitable for high-power applications.
The coupler excels in environmental stability, operating effectively over a temperature range of -5°C to +70°C, with a thermal stability of ≤ 0.002 dB/°C. It also boasts high return loss of 50 dB and is available in a range of coupling ratios, offering precise control over signal distribution. Whether for optical communication, fiber sensors, or testing instruments, the GK-SMC Series coupler provides dependable performance and versatility in demanding applications.
